Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger says he feels 'sorry' for Jose Mourinho as he prepares to end Chelsea's title campaign this weekend.
He said: "Of course I feel sympathy for Chelsea. No matter how rich a club is, you understand how painful it is for the coach and players to go out of Europe."
Mourinho's Blues desperately need to bounce back from their midweek Champions League exit to Liverpool.
They must win at the Emirates to keep alive their slim Premiership hopes.
But Wenger said: "It is a terrible blow when you go out of the Champions League and something goes away from you.
"The feeling that you are living in a world with expectations suddenly disappears.
"Look across Europe and you see that many teams just collapse."
